About Safety Slap
On a beautiful Sunday afternoon I went to Minnesota Harvest (a local apple orchard for you non-Minnesotans)
with my family and a few friends. While we were wandering around the apple orchard a tiny girl appeared. She
quickly made friends with my 3-year-old son and they babbled on about apples, tractors and the last episode of
Super Why. That went on for a few minutes when all of us adults started wondering, "Hey, where are this girl's parents?" Looking around, we were basically alone in the orchard. We could not hear anybody else and we certainly
couldn't see anybody else. So we started yelling around hoping a worried parent would hear our calls. Sure enough,
a few moments later a frazzled mother pushed through a thick pocket of apple trees. It was great to see that frazzled
look turn to relief, which is why we make Safety Slaps.

FAQsQ: What if my child takes off the wristband?
A: Similar to your child's seat belt in the car, you teach them not to unbuckle themselves. Same rules apply for the Safety Slap, teach them that it needs to stay on. Most kids like the way it looks and are happy to wear it. Q: What happens if I change my phone number? A: No problem, you can change any of your contact numbers online. Please allow 24-48 hours for the changes to take effect. Q: Why won't my phone scan the QR token? A: The ability to scan the token is based on a variety of factors including lighting, connectivity to the internet, and your phone's camera. All new smart phones with 5MP or greater cameras have little to no issues scanning our tokens. Make sure there is enough lighting for the camera to clearly focus on the entire QR code. We recommend the following free scanning programs: Apple products - NeoReader or QR Reader. Android products - QR Droid. Blackberry - QR Code Scanner Pro. Visit your phone's app store for free downloads of these popular QR reader applications. Q: Do you offer discounts for large quantity orders for schools, daycares or other organizations? A: The Safety Slap wristband and tokens are 100% waterproof and are made to handle just about any conditions you can throw at them. It is not advisable to expose the wristband to open flames or temperatures above 150 degrees F. Treat this wristband like you would a waterproof watch. Q: Do you ship Internationally?
